Release Notes - 18.1.1 - 1/30/2018

As part of our commitment to excellence and customer success, we’re happy to announce several enhancements and improvements to WebLink Connect to help you manage your organization more efficiently and effectively. As with previous releases, we will roll out these changes in stages beginning Tuesday, January 30.  All customers will have the release by Monday, February 5.

NOTE: the 18.1.1 release is a small update to improve performance and searching in the WebLink browser version. These updates will automatically be available and you will NOT see a download window in your installed desktop version of WebLink for this release.

New Profile Selector Search Options in Browser

  • Search by date period instead of static date/range

When building an email list using the Profile Selector in the browser, you'll see a new option on Date search fields called "In The Period." When you select that option, a new dropdown will appear with 5 standard time periods, relative to the current date.
  • Search by custom SQL

You can now use custom, raw SQL to run profile searches in the browser to build your email list. The Advanced tab is looking for the "where" clause of a Profile select SQL statement. Advanced users can build any custom query to pull the specific list you need using any data.

Directory and Event Performance Improvements

Our team has been working on some behind-the-scenes performance optimization to help your database run more quickly. After this release, you'll see fewer "slow periods" while using WebLink.
