Upload a Custom Report to your Reports Library

Besides the many reports that are included with WebLink, you can also create and store your own Custom Reports. There are several benefits to doing this:

  • If you save the Report with the same file name as a WebLink Stock Report, your version will run when you select the Stock Report from the Reports Menu.
  • Uploaded Custom Reports are preserved on the WebLink server, so you don't have to store them locally.
  • If other users in your Office Download Latest Report, they will have the custom version, as well

Follow these steps to Upload a Custom Report to the WebLink Report Menu:

  1. Create the report you want to upload. It must be a Crystal Report .rpt file.
  2. Go to Reports > Upload Custom Report. The Upload Report window will open.
  3. Click the ... button to browse to your report.
  4. Enter any identifying information you want in the Upload Report window.
  5. Click Upload.

Once Uploaded, Custom Reports are available two ways:

  • by going to Reports > Custom Reports and selecting the report from the Custom Reports Folder
  • by navigating to the Report Menu of the Stock Report that shares the same file name with your Custom Report
