Regardless of website you have, your website can have as many pages and sub-pages as needed; we place no limits whatsoever on the number of pages that can be added. Creating a new page is a matter of going to the Pages tab and clicking the Add Page button.
There is an option to Add a Standard Page, Add a Blog Page, Add an External Page, or Non-Clickable Menu.
- Standard Page: This is a page that will need to have content (text, image, video, etc) inserted.
- Blog Page: A blog page also a page that will need to have content (text, image, video, etc) inserted, but will have additional features (author, archive of other blog content, links to additional blog categories).
- External Page: This would be a link to page external to your WMS page structure (directory links, event registrations, partner websites, etc.)
- Non-clickable Menu: This would be a section in the Primary Navigation that doesn't have a page associated with it, but allows you to place other pages below it.
The Standard Page option will be your most common page type. When you add this page type, you'll see it added to the bottom of the page list on the left of your screen.
Adding more pages is a matter of clicking Add Page and choosing Standard Page again (and again). Or you can use the Copy Page feature to duplicate a previously built page. Note you can not duplicate External Pages.
Once you've added your Standard Page, you will want to alter the location of the page in the page list. You simply 'click and drag' the page to the location in the website architecture you desire.
As you add (and name) each of your pages, they'll automatically become part of your site's navigation bar. Please use caution when altering your website page list. This is especially true when you're adding or altering your primary navigation. Adding in primary navigation might alter the overall layout of your design. Just keep in mind the size and width of the current and new links.
You can re-arrange the order of the pages by clicking and dragging them up and down the Pages list. Changing the order of pages in the list will also change the order in which they're displayed in the navigation. You'll also see the indented pages - the sub-pages of your website. For most page layouts, you'll see these sub-pages as "Quick Links" or part of the drop down feature from the primary navigation.
