How can I set protect prospects so that only the assigned sales staff has access to them?
WebLink uses the Prospect Protection feature to protect the sales opportunities created by your staff. When activated, Prospect Protection does the following things:
- Sales Opportunities can only be edited or deleted by the person who created them
Follow these steps to turn on Prospect Protection:
1. Go to Admin > Set Preferences > Application Settings and click on Sales.
2. Click the Use Prospect Protection check box.
NOTE: With Prospect Protection enabled, even administrators can not change the items listed above. If a sales person leaves and items need to be re-assigned, you must have an administrator temporarily de-activate Prospect Protection by unchecking the checkbox and saving.
